LG G4 could be launched on June 4 by Verizon

LG yesterday started the global rollout of the G4, its newest flagship smartphone. Of course, this means that the handset will soon be available to buy in the US, among other markets.

While only T-Mobile revealed the launch date of its LG G4 (June 2), we may also already know when the new smartphone will be available from Verizon Wireless. Verizon is currently listing the G4 on its official website as "coming soon", while showing a "Thursday, June 4" date on the device's lock screen.

It's not uncommon for official release dates to show up on the home screens of various handsets before they go on sale. At the same time, this can't be seen as a confirmation that the G4 will indeed be launched on June 4 by Verizon, but that's certainly a possibility.

It's not clear if Verizon is planning to offer both the plastic and leather variants of the G4, but the image seen above confirms that the carrier will sell the former version. We've already reviewed the LG G4, so you can find out more about it before getting the chance to check it out live.

Do you plan to buy the LG G4 from Verizon? Or maybe from another US carrier?
