Images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 leak
Prototypes of the Galaxy Note 3 have been shipped in “very low quantities” for purposes of research and development. Based on the almost clear photos, the corners on this device are quite a bit sharper than what we have seen with the recent wave of Galaxy Mega-this-and-that.

All we have to look at right now are pictures from the front of the device, so we cannot see anything related to the S-Pen. Other than that, the form factor follows Samsung’s established design model.

What might we expect to see in the Galaxy Note 3? Well current rumors point to a 5.99-inch Super AMOLED display (full HD of course), 13MP camera with OIS, and Android 4.3 with a dollop of TouchWiz. For the processor, it is also possible we will see the Note 3 pack an octa-core Exynos 5 CPU or a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU possibly tuned to 2.3GHz.

Samsung will formally unveil the Galaxy Note 3 at IFA in Germany in September. Meanwhile, we expect to learn a lot more about this device before then.

You seem pretty sure of that .... I will say the battle between the note 3 and HTC one max will be interesting. Early rumors of both these devices seem pretty beastly

Unless HTC can integrate Wacom in their next device...otherwise...it's pretty much one-sided

U can also include xperia zu (togari phablet), sony & htc will battle for the design, while samsung will come face to face with htc fighting for their power and performance...im just a little bit concern wit the 6.44" size of the togari..i think its way too big..

Well it has done it 2 times already. So the third can easoly do it again. It really should be interesting with other competitors like HTC bringing a phablet, but Samsung has years of experience and software goodies in the Note line. It will be hard to beat. But in the end it benefits me and the consumer :)

Design could have been better? (Not sure how the final product would look like but just a personal opinion)

Indeed it will be a beast.

Screen size? Or the phone overall? Didn't Samsung (or a source from an article on PA) already said that they are working on a 5.9 inch version of the Note 3?

Dear Mr. Pōtâtō Head,

Samsung should ban you from owning ANY of their devices.

buddy unfortunately it seems bigger. with these thick bezells+5.99" no chance!!! so lets pray: please samsung, surprise us on NOTE III with same size like my NOTE II(no need to be thinner but not wider or longer either)+5.99" FHD(or higher resolution if possible) as you did with S4 after S3. amen - P.S. could you please use the same headset jack with macbook/ipod/iphone bcs i cant use my higher quality headsets with existing one(not compatible buttons, lower sound quality)

Get real, dude. The S4 screen only grew .2 inches from the S3 & the S3 had a decent amount of bezel to get rid of. The Note 2 already has slimmer bezels than the S3. No chance the screen goes from 5.5" to 5.9"+ without the phone getting taller & wider.

S800 Crapdragon, epic fail, halfbaked A9,A15

Exynos E5420 or E5430 quadcore 2.3Ghz, pure true A15 CPU, will destroy the crapdragon l™

Snapdragon used to be terrible in the past, but ever since the Snapdragon S4 Pro, Snapdragon came out top. I think the Snapdragon S800 is the best processor right now. I would prefer snapdragon over exynos because Snapdragon chips are better for tweaking and flashing roms because its open sourced.

You think the Snap 800 is the best processor right now? What are you basing that on? A few synthetic benchmarks you've seen? Your projection for how good it's gonna be? It's not even out yet. It makes no sense to call something that hasn't even come to market "the best".

The new Snapdragons are pretty good. I would prefer that over the 8 core Samsung Exynos processor this time around. Don't think you can post judgement so quick. Things turn around so fast in the phone industry.
Apple could sneak in multiple phone sizes with iOS 7 surprising everyone. Don't underestimate competition; that includes cpu manufactures.

The S800 is going to be beast, S600 is already a beast and has proven to be more power efficient than the Octa by quite long on GSMArena's tests.

also to remember that exynos in s4 gives more battery life than s600 in htc one. However, both provessors are great but I believe, exynos is more future proof and the battery life is likely to become much better with future updates..

Agreed, there's (oh look, apostrophe) no way I'd give up my Note 2 Quad-Core Exynos for a Snafu dragon.
