HTC 10 should be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat in Q4, One M9 and A9 will follow

The company plans to bring Nougat to the HTC 10 sometime in the fourth quarter of the year, thus in October the earliest, and December the latest. After that, the One M9 and One A9 will also receive official Nougat updates.

HTC mentions that the unlocked versions of these three handsets will be the first to get Android Nougat. Carrier models will be updated later - which isn't surprising, since carriers almost always need more time to test and approve software updates.

As you may remember, it was back in June when HTC first confirmed that the HTC 10, One M9, and One A9 would all get Nougat. It's good to see that the company now has clearer plans regarding the timing of the updates, isn't it?
