Galaxy S7 press renders and LG G5 schematics: weekly news roundup

Once again, it is time for our weekly news round-up, where we put the most interesting stories from the past seven days for anyone who needs to catch up.

As can be expected, the news feed and leaks tap were brimming with info and rumors about the biggest event for the first half of the year that is opening in a few short weeks - the MWC expo 2016. The Galaxy S7 was expected to be unveiled there, and indeed there was a teaser posted by Samsung itself telling us to expect #TheNextGalaxy on February 21st. The LG G5 will reportedly also come on February 21st, on the same day that the Galaxy S7 is unveiled, and a 3D render of the handset has emerged, based on leaked case schematics, with very interesting specs claims to accompany it.

As for iOS-related news, besides Apple's record-breaking profit announcement, the biggest leak concerned the eventual iPad 3 that is rumored to be unveiled in March. You can preview all that mattered last week in the slideshow below.
