First iPad 2 online orders have arrived

It looks like the first online orders for the iPad 2 are slowly starting to arrive to the front steps of their happy owners. This is the reward for everyone who was persistent enough to place an order within the first minutes after Apple made the tablet available for purchase through its online store. Since Monday, an increasing number of customers have been reporting that they have received their new and shiny iPad 2 while many others are expecting to get theirs by the end of the week.

After being rushed by an avalanche of online orders, Apple was forced to extend delivery times again and again so that it could keep up with the overwhelmingly high demand for the iPad 2. About a month is what you will have to wait if you decide to buy one online today, but we doubt that many of you will have the nerves to hold on for that long. Perhaps, queuing up and waiting in line for a couple of hours doesn't seem that bad of an option after all.
