Walmart steals Amazon's limelight with bonkers new $450 Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra discount
The S25 Ultra is obviously not better than the S26 Ultra, but at $450 off its list price, it might just be affordable enough to make up for its slowly advancing age.

Of course, there are always cheaper and lower-end Samsung handsets to consider, as well as many other great phones from brands like Google, Motorola, or Nothing, and last but not least, older Galaxy powerhouses. Like the S25 Plus at a massive $335 Prime Day 2026 discount. Or a Galaxy S25 Ultra for 450 bucks less than usual with no strings attached. Wait, what?
It's true, Samsung's best non-foldable device... from last year is on sale at Walmart for $849.99 instead of $1,299.99. Obviously, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered 6.9-incher is no longer worth anywhere close to its original starting price, but I'm sure we can all agree that processor alone makes it a killer bargain at a $450 markdown.
And then you have to consider other state-of-the-art Galaxy S25 Ultra specs like 12GB RAM, a gargantuan Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen with 120Hz refresh rate technology and a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels, a quad rear camera system composed of 200, 10, 50, and 50MP sensors, a built-in S Pen, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is in no way better than its predecessor in all these departments, and although it does bump up the charging support from 45 to 60W while also adding groundbreaking Privacy Display functionality to the value equation and packing a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, I'm not sure if those upgrades fully justify an extra expense of $100 or $150 right now.
If you agree, you should probably hurry and claim Walmart's somewhat random new Prime Day-eclipsing Galaxy S25 Ultra deal, which requires no membership or anything else of that sort and is only available for a Titanium Whitesilver color option of the ultra-high-end handset with 256GB internal storage space.
