Come up with the next ring tone for Nokia and win $10,000
Nokia, along with AudioDraft, announced a contest on Monday that offers a prize of $10,000. Those entering the contest are asked to come up with a new ring tone that will be included on some of the Finnish-based firm's 2012 product portfolio. Nokia is looking for something new that will identify a ringing handset as being a Nokia model, similar to its current signature ring tone.
While the $10,000 is a pretty good incentive, the winner will be able to hear his/her composition on 100 million handsets and it will also be made available from the Ovi Store. To enter the contest, head over to the sourcelink. If it helps, Nokia says it is looking for a ring tone that is "fresh, expressive, original, creative yet distinctively a Nokia Tune." And if you don't get the grand prize, you might still end up with one of five runner-up prizes of $1,000. Now get to work!
