Amazon drops the price of the Motorola DROID BIONIC to $150 with a $50 gift card included
Share:
This time, Amazon has the highly prized smartphone priced at $149.99 for new customers, which is a $50 drop in savings from what we saw initially, but interestingly enough, the savings doesn’t stop there. In fact, the online retailer is giving out $50 Amazon gift cards to those new customers picking up the handset until September 26th. Sadly though, the offer is not available for upgrade customers – who are actually required to fork over $249.99 to pick up the handset.
Nonetheless, if you’re interested in picking up the Motorola DROID BIONIC with a new 2-year service agreement, you might want to consider Amazon’s promotion right now. Plus, they include free 2-day shipping, $15 Digital Bonus in apps, MP3s, and eBooks.

Dude... You call a device "Overrated" but do nothing to support your theory. I believe Allday28, when he says "Oh wait you probably cant!!"... Loser.

Dude both of you are morons. Stop whining because the answer to your questions are already in front of you. This one is overrated because of the price tag. They are thinking that this phone will be the best one when they released it and since they marketed the phone really well, they put out a huge price tag with it thinking that it will sell but it didnt happen. No one is buying the phone. People will rather get the SGSII or wait for either the next iPhone or an ICS device. This one is a failure just like the both of you.

Your grasp of the English language is impeccable. You radiate confidence when you speak. Overrated? No. Overpriced? Yes.

Overrated? How is that? I bought it for 299 and got 50 bucks off and traded in my Imagio and got another 100 bucks off. Makes the grand total 149. Phone is the best I have ever seen. My buddy has the charge and says he now wants the Bionic. I think it is a great phone. I have not a single complaint about the Bionic. It even gets very good battery longevity on it as well considering it is a smart phone.

It is a fantastic phone. I had a Charge but got this instead. The PenTile display is its only weakness. But the build quality, battery life, camera, button layout, and voice quality are all better than the Samsung in my opinion.

Lol didn't even make it 30 days before price was slashed in half.

They put it on sale because no one is buying it. Basically because it's out dated. And has a lot more better options.

A lot more better? Please refrain from calling people stupid.

This price is only for new customers so they can get locked into a tiered data plan.

Well, now it's underrated since it's cheaper! People should buy this phone if they want a great phone for a great price and great 4G service. =)

The problem with this phone, as I see it, is that in order for the phone to be truly worth $299.00, you must buy the accessories to get its total worth. And your total investment than comes to around $1000.00. If you are not willing to spend that kind of money to exploit the phones full capacity, than you are paying too much for a phone that is probably only worth $150.00 for all the use you are going to actually get for it. What I'm saying, then, is that it is all about the accessories with this phone at the current price point of $299.00. And if I'm going to spend $1000.00 than I'm going to get an iPhone and an iPad instead. So I say that if you can't get this phone for $150.00 than don't get it unless you have money to burn. And by the way, what is this "tentative November date" for a bug fix of the numerous bugs? tentative? They want you to wait until maybe November? Are you kidding me? All this Android phone manufactures can go pound sand if they can't ever get it right the first time and have these phones working out of the box. It's a joke.
