Acer Liquid E3 and Liquid Z4 join the Android value niche
Acer has introduced a pair of new Android handsets, the Acer Liquid E3 and Acer Liquid Z4, that both become part of the widening value priced Android niche. Led by models like the Motorola Moto G, these are low priced handsets with some decent specs. The Acer Liquid E3 will cost €199 ($275 USD) and features a 4.7 inch screen with a 720 x 1280 resolution. A quad-core 1.2GHz processor is under the hood with 1GB of RAM on board and 4GB of native storage. The rear and front-facing snappers weigh in at 13MP and 2MP respectively, making this the model for the struggling (or penny wise) photographer.

The Acer Liquid Z4 goes even further into the value niche, priced at €99 ($135 USD). This model has a dual-core 1.3GHz processor, 4GB of native storage, and a 5MP f/2.4 rear camera. Both the Liquid E3 and Liquid Z4 will have Android 4.2.2 pre-installed and will arrive in Europe around April. Don't expect a U.S. launch of the two models.

If you're looking for a low priced value Android phone in Europe, you might want to wait a couple of months and check out the pair of Acers that will be up the sleeves of phone retailers on the continent.

I think that's because of mediatek SoC, most of mediatek-powered devices are equipped with 4GB int. storage and Android 4.2.2(4.0.4 & 4.1.2 for older SoC's) without any future update. MOST of them, not all I think.

I don't like Acer phones, their phones look boring, specs aren't so wow. Yes, I know they have a high end phone, the Liquid S2 and the specs are cool but the design is just old and boring.
