T-Mix is the newest plan in T-Mobile's arsenal, which was built around pick and choose tokens, which you can spend on perks like memberships to some popular streaming apps or even a brand-new iPhone 18 Pro, perks that would cost extra on other plans such as Verizon's myPlan.
The wireless industry has spent decades telling customers what their plan should be — even though 84% of consumers surveyed want more control over what they pay for.
Allan Samson, Chief Marketing Officer at T-Mobile, T-Mobile press release, October 26, 2026
However, T-Mobilemade it official on October 26, and I personally see the real version as more user-friendly than the leaks originally suggested.
The pricing for the three tiers is as follows for 1 to 4 lines, respectively:
Standard: $55, $85, $100 or $115.
More: $75, $130, $155 or $180.
Loaded: $95, $160, $200 or $240.
As you can see in the chart below, the number of Picks you get per tier varies as well depending on the number of lines. Basically, the higher the tier and the more lines you have, the more Picks you get to spend.

Each tier also has certain basic features that also vary. For example, on the Standard tier you get 50GB of premium data, whereas on the More and Loaded tiers, you get unlimited premium data. The same goes for video streaming, which is capped at 480p on the Standard tier versus 4K on More and Loaded. Hotspot is high-speed data for up to 60GB on More and up to 250GB on Loaded, versus the unlimited data at 3G speeds that you get on Standard or if you go over your limit on the other two tiers.

T-Mix has your usual subscriptions as included perks
In its press release, T-Mobile highlights a CR Research study that found people typically spend about $219 a month on subscriptions that can vary between streaming, gaming apps, or tech they purchase. As someone who "cut the cord" years ago, I can definitely speak to my streaming costs slowly creeping up to just about that same level. This is what T-Mobile says T-Mix is trying to remedy by pulling some of these onto your phone bill instead, but at a savings.
The perks are part of the plan in contrast with the industry's paid add-ons, such as what Verizon has. I recall that back when I had T-Mobile on my old grandfathered plan, I had Netflix included, but if I wanted to add the Google One storage plan that was considered an extra.
With T-Mix, I'm foreseeing having more freedom to choose which benefits I want without having them chosen for me, and I can swap them up to four times a year as my needs change.
And that's not even counting the benefits you already get that do not require Picks, such as T-Mobile Tuesdays, hotel and rental car perks, a Delta in-flight drink, among others.
According to a report, with Verizon's myPlan, perks cost $10 to $15 a month extra, each. That is on top of the plan you already pay for. It should be noted that these perks have also gone up in price this year, with the Netflix + HBO Max perk going from $10 to $13 in May.
Families have the most to gain with Loaded Picks
Now, it's important to understand that not all perks are equal and each is worth a different amount of Picks. Currently, they are categorized as below:
1 Pick: Hulu (with ads), Netflix with ads, DashPass, YouTube Premium Lite, Google AI Plus, Apple TV (1 Pick only through June 2027).
2 Picks: Apple Music, YouTube Premium, Google AI Pro, Xbox Game Pass Premium.
3 Picks: Netflix Standard, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
4 Picks: ESPN Unlimited, Netflix Premium.
So, working out the math, if you have a family of three on the Loaded tier you'd be paying $200 a month for 3 lines, which qualifies you for 9 Picks. With those Picks you can get a Netflix Standard subscription (3 Picks), a YouTube Premium subscription (2 Picks), an Xbox Game Pass Premium (2 Picks) and a Google AI Pro subscription (2 Picks).
According to T-Mobile, the Loaded tier averages $120 of value per line per month, which calculates to $4,320 a year for three lines. That's quite a significant value.
Now, if phone promos are your thing, these will cost you 1 to 3 Picks per line. You can choose to use up your Picks for a phone promo, but just know that this will hold them for the promotional period, after which they get freed up for perks again. T-Mobile says most people keep their phones for about three years, which is not my personal experience, but could very well be the case for someone who is not a phone enthusiast.
There is a caveat, though, that should be noted. Unused Picks don't roll over to the next quarter, so you have to use it or lose it. Also swapping perks outside of a change window may cost you a fee, so it's worth it to spend a few minutes planning what you will be spending your Picks on each quarter.
Families and groups are better off on T-Mix
This is definitely the plan for those who use many lines. I am talking families and groups. The more, the merrier, and the more benefits you can stack up. I see this plan as a way to consolidate all of those apps you are already paying a subscription on, and put them all into your phone bill possibly for less.
I cannot personally vouch for the T-Mix plan, since it isn't out yet and I haven't used it, but at face value it really looks like this could be a viable way to save some money if you're having to maintain and pay for several lines. If I were paying for, let's say, Netflix and YouTube Premium separately, I'd definitely be running the numbers to see if switching was to my benefit. I'm curious to see how this plan does once it's out and if more perks are added down the line.
