The new features are part of the One UI 9.0 Beta 2 release, so at the moment, they are limited to people inside the One UI Beta program. But I expect a stable rollout pretty soon, so don't worry if you're not in the One UI Beta program.
You can enroll if you like, but installing beta software on your phone comes with the usual caveats. Things might not be as polished as you'd expect, and you should always do a backup before starting an installation. Now, on to the new features.
Call Brief, My FanCam, Now Custom Cards, and Now Nudge are coming to the Galaxy S24
These four powerful AI features are already on the Galaxy S26 as well as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, which launched with One UI 9.0 out of the box.
Out of the four, Now Nudge is one of the most popular and powerful. This AI feature shows you relevant information right on your home screen based on contextual data from different apps and services, such as Google Maps, your email, suggestions, Calendar, and more.

Call Brief is similar, but much simpler. It offers relevant information about things you're discussing.
My FanCam is a really neat camera tool that allows you to focus and reframe a video on a person after you finish recording. Say you're filming your daughter's school play performance in wide angle. After the video is ready, you select your kid, and the whole video becomes about her.
With Now Custom Cards, you can create AI-powered custom cards for Now Brief. It's another useful customization option—nothing groundbreaking, but still a quality-of-life update for your Galaxy S24.

These four AI features are currently locked behind the One UI Beta program. The stable One UI release typically arrives about 2 to 4 weeks after Samsung rolls out the second beta version for a specific Galaxy model, so you should sit tight and be patient a little longer.
Of course, there's the option to enroll in Samsung's One UI Beta program and get Call Brief, My FanCam, Now Custom Cards, and Now Nudge right now. But as I said before, this approach comes with its own risks.

My personal opinion is to keep your Galaxy S24 series device. There are five long years of life left in those devices, and if you own the Galaxy S24 Ultra, it will remain a true flagship for quite a long time.
The S26 Ultra is nice and all, but the actual hardware differences between the latest Samsung flagship and the Galaxy S24 Ultra aren't that significant. And, as we can see, software features are trickling down anyway. What would you do? Keep you Galaxy S24 or upgrade to the Galaxy S26? The third option is to wait for the Galaxy S27 series.
