We asked you, "What upgrade would make you buy the Galaxy S27 Ultra?" and the results were very interesting. Almost 40% of over a thousand voters think the S27 Ultra needs a bigger battery. At least, for them to consider buying the next Samsung flagship.
Samsung has been using the same 5,000 mAh battery capacity on the Ultra model for quite some time now, and with the silicon-carbon battery tech arriving on more and more phones, this capacity doesn't cut it anymore.

You guys placed the price as a distant second with 13.5%, and that's quite understandable with the ongoing price hikes. According to the latest leaks and rumors from Korea, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to start at $1,399; that's $100 more than the previous generation.
Smartphone manufacturers are raising the prices left and right due to the ongoing chip shortage, and, as you probably already know, AI is to blame. RAM and storage chips are on a backorder filling AI data centers around the world, and the demand is much higher than the supply. Speaking of AI.

I wish big companies read these polls. As tech giants invest billions in scaling their AI infrastructure, regular people are fed up with AI. Only 1.69% of you guys voted "New AI tricks" as a reason to buy the Galaxy S27 Ultra.
Maybe, just maybe, Samsung should focus on fresher design rather than pushing to shove more AI in the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Actually, the third most voted answer is "New design," so people are also bored with the same Galaxy Ultra for yet another year.
Should you actually buy the Galaxy S27 Ultra?
That's a fair question. A big chunk of the voters (almost 13%) won't be getting the Galaxy S27 Ultra, no matter what. And I completely understand the sentiment. If I were to upgrade my old phone, I'd rather pick a Galaxy S26 Ultra on a deal than cough up $1,399 for the new model.
