Here's exactly when you'll find out everything there is to know about the Motorola Signature 27

Technically unveiled more than a month ago, Motorola's second-gen Signature still has a bunch of major secrets... that will probably be revealed on November 5.

Even though it's still 2026, Motorola's main (non-foldable) flagship for 2027 has already been official for more than a month. Then again, the aptly named Signature 27 powerhouse, which is set to follow in the footsteps of the first-gen Signature soon enough, remains shrouded in mystery in many ways.

That's because last month's product announcement didn't actually include a lot of key details and specs, with all availability information (beyond a vague confirmation of a "worldwide" release by the end of 2026) also kept under wraps. But that's obviously set to change in the near future, and we now know precisely when that will happen.

Save the November 5 date!

Yes, Motorola is preparing... something for next Thursday. But while some of the brand's hardcore fans might be hoping to see the Motorola Signature 27 widely released on November 5, I'm afraid it's entirely possible we'll only get the handset's full spec sheet and a later date for an actual sales kickoff in certain markets next week.

I also fear this second product announcement will include no US availability info, and although that's just a guess on my part, it's based on the fact that Motorola is not currently building buzz around the Signature 27 on its official American social media channels.

Instead, the November 5... launch (?) is merely confirmed on the company's global X account, while Moto's Indian branch is very clearly hinting at impending regional sales. On the bright side, the Signature 27 is still featured on its manufacturer's US website, so unlike its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 beast remains just about guaranteed for a stateside commercial debut... sooner or later.

What do we know about the Signature 27 again?

Apart from the fact that it will be among the first phones in the world to use that aforementioned state-of-the-art new Qualcomm SoC and that it somehow looks both undeniably gorgeous and kind of quirky at first glance, not that much.

Yes, Motorola has also confirmed the primary rear-facing camera will rock a 50MP Sony Lytia 910 sensor and that the secondary snapper is a cutting-edge 200MP periscope telephoto lens, but the tertiary 50MP ultra-wide-angle cam, massive 7,000mAh battery equipped with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support, the 12 and 16GB RAM options, and the storage variants capping off at 1TB are still not technically etched in stone yet.

What else don't we know and are likely to learn next week?

The product weight and dimensions are also among the currently unknown Motorola Signature 27 details, and if you don't think they can make the difference between a blockbuster and a flop, look at the rumored aforementioned cell capacity again.

Of course, the most important thing we're expecting Motorola to (hopefully) confirm on November 5 is how much the second-gen Signature will cost in India, across Europe, and ideally (although unlikely), in the US as well.

While the original Signature was not that expensive, starting at €999 on the old continent, a very worrying potential Signature 27 price tag surfaced this week in Portugal. Fortunately, that's by no means set in stone at the moment, but if the phone does end up costing over €1,500 or even €1,400 or so, Motorola's chances of challenging the popularity of Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra and upcoming Galaxy S27 Ultra will instantly crash very close to zero.

€1,500, mind you, converts to almost $1,700, and while I highly doubt the Signature 27 could be released in the US anywhere close to that mark, anything over $1,200 would probably condemn the ultra-high-end handset to regional irrelevance.
