Bose's latest QuietComfort Headphones have just become impossible to pass up. Believe it or not, the over-ear Bluetooth headphones that launched in August at around $360 have plunged 45% at Amazon, landing them just under the $200 mark.
By the way, this is the first time I've seen such a huge discount over at the e-commerce giant, so I definitely wouldn't pass it up if I were after a new capable headset. That said, I think it's highly unlikely for the promo to stick around for long because the promo is only available on the model in Hazelnut Taupe.
With an upgraded design and pill-shaped earcups, the QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) should be much more comfortable to wear. But Bose didn't just improve the design; it also upgraded the audio quality.
The brand claims the new headphones deliver a more immersive audio experience, thanks to the TrueSpatial audio feature. On top of that, they don't overpower the mix with thumping low-end, giving you a more balanced audio profile out of the box.
As if that's not enough, Bose adds lossless audio support, meaning you can connect them straight to your phone or tablet with a USB-C cable for clearer, more detailed sound.
Like most headphones on the market, these puppies feature active noise cancellation (ANC). While it's not the best in the market, their noise cancellation performance keeps unwanted distractions at bay while you enjoy your favorite tunes.
Last but not least, the QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) deliver up to 24 hours of battery life on a single charge. They should last more than a few days of commuting, though keep in mind that enabling Immersive Audio mode shrinks the battery life to 18 hours.
If you ask me, the Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) may not be the best option at their full asking price, but now that they're 45% off, they're one of my top early Black Friday picks. Don't miss out.
