Is it smart to buy a new smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, or headphones with just a couple of months (at most) left until the holiday shopping season officially kicks off with Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, especially when you know a presumably epic second Prime Day sales event of the year is even closer on the horizon?
In any other year, it definitely wouldn't be, but 2026 is special... for all the wrong reasons, bringing a few waves of price hikes for many popular products from most of the tech industry's biggest brands already and reportedly having another round of price increases on the way too. As such, it might actually prove wiser in the long run to take advantage of some of the best offers gathered below to end your week than wait and potentially see your favorite devices get costlier and then drop to higher prices around the holidays than right now.
Do you really think these top three deals will ever be improved?
Anything is possible on Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, of course (even in 2026), but personally, I can't see Samsung bumping up the Galaxy Z Fold 8's current combined discount any further. After all, this is a (confirmed) global bestseller, and somehow, you can get it at $300 under its list price just a couple of months after its official announcement with an extra $400-worth gift also included.
That's a total savings of $700 (!!!) on one of the greatest foldable phones around and a Samsung accessory (or several) of your choice, which would frankly blow my mind even as an actual Black Friday promotion.
The same (more or less) goes for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which just so happens to be probably the best Android phone available in the US right now, and for an undoubtedly limited time only, its (original) starting price is marked down by a substantial $250 with $300 Samsung Store credit also thrown in at no additional cost. The Galaxy Tab S11, meanwhile, is on sale at a slightly less impressive discount... at least at first glance, promising to wow you with its bang for your buck when you consider the expected retail prices of its impending sequels (which don't even include a "vanilla" Galaxy Tab S12).
These other smartphone offers also look extremely hard to beat
If you think there's no way you can get a respectable Android handset with a built-in stylus on a super-tight budget in this day and age, Amazon's almost miraculous new Moto G Stylus (2025) deal will prove you wrong. The Pixel 10a, Galaxy A57 5G, and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, meanwhile, are your best current mid-range options on a slightly higher budget, although the decidedly premium Nothing Phone (3) is absolutely worth some consideration too at a remarkably low price of its own.
Then you have Motorola's Razr Plus (2025) and Razr Ultra (2025) battling for an affordable foldable title that seemed... a utopian dream just a couple of years ago, and last but not necessarily least, the Galaxy S26 Plus at a cool $200 discount for Android power users who can't quite afford the Galaxy S26 Ultra. I'm not saying all of these are Black Friday-grade promotions, but they're definitely not far from that mark.
And how about this impressively diverse collection of tablet bargains?
I don't typically throw the term "bargain" around carelessly, mind you, so trust me when I tell you that the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 and Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 are fully deserving of that label at their latest hefty discounts, and the Galaxy Tab S10 FE is not far from earning the same honor.
That being said, I would still strongly recommend you to consider the newer and higher-end Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 at their surprisingly early and unexpectedly substantial first discounts with wireless earbuds bundled in. Unless, of course, you're an Apple devotee, in which case you might not want to waste another second and pick whichever of Cupertino's latest iPad Airs fits your screen size preferences better.
Some of the greatest smartwatches around are also massively discounted
Yes, "massive" is a definite overstatement for the Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4's first-ever discounts, while the equally new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is not technically discounted at all.
But last year's still-amazing Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Apple Watch Ultra 3 are on sale at unusually deep price cuts that Amazon is unlikely to be able to top anytime soon, and if you absolutely must buy a newer product than those two, one of the three admittedly modest aforementioned deals will have to do for now.
