Apple's 2014 holiday ad shows how its devices bring the family together
Apple has created a 90-second ad for the holidays that shows how its products can be used to bring families together. Last year, Apple ran a spot for the holiday season that showed a boy staring at his iPhone during a family reunion. But while it appeared that the youth was being disrespectful, at the end of the ad it was revealed that the youngster was actually editing a movie to show to the family. That spot won a Creative Arts Emmy for "Outstanding Commercial."

This year's spot shows a young woman using an iPhone, an iPad and a Mac Book to create a duet featuring a recording that her grandmother made for her grandfather. The grandmother is seen listening to the recording on an Apple iPad mini 3. The tears flow, the goosebumps grow, and Apple has touched you again.

If it was samsung, you'd be praising it.

I would never really praise a Samsung ad or any ad whatsoever. Take this ad for example. What does it have to do with apple devices?

When you can't make a good phone, crank up the lifestyle pornography. Apple is fast becoming nothing more than a beverage company, like Coca-Cola, peddling low quality crap through deception and lies. "When Apple is a Part of Your Life, You Can't Beat the Feeling

What is a good phone for you isnt what is a good phone for other people. Trying to make your opinion sound like godlike and at the same time making everyone else with different opinion seem like freaks and sheeps just makes you look more like a North Korean dictator.

Why the hate? People never waste an opportunity to bash something. It's a very nice ad, and sends a nice message about family and the holidays. I swear people will bash a kitten drinking milk if PA posted it. Maybe if this was a Google ad it would get unanimous love?

I guarantee you, no matter who makes the ad, there will always be someone from one camp or another with some form of criticism. I find it very amusing and entertaining reading all forms of praise and criticisms :)

Its a nice ad. I think. But people do not criticize the ad usually they just start bashing the company because somehow they feel butthurt cause their favorite company isnt doing as well or doesn't have as nice ads. I mean how low of a human being can you be to feel offended if someone doesn't have the same branded phone as you..
