exactly.... so they are going to release a new generation of phones that are way behind on displayquality, display size, camera, are in total catchup mode on OS and theyve still got the arrogance to premioum price it by 30%
My bet is theyll be as fragile as eggs as theyve always been too.
one of Jobs most famous quotes was that nobody needs a display more than 3.5 inches on a phone so Apple isn't going to make it.... L.....O.....L
Apple has always had the unbelievable arrogance to say "this is what you want, so now pay too much for it, and by the way, you have to buy everything that goes on it from us too"
I was so glad when Android and Windows Phone became real players with great products so I didn't have to put up with apples arrogance anymore.

Whilst I never have and never will own an IPhone I am for the first time looking forward to Tim Cook’s announcement for these two products
The iphone6 4.7" and the iPhoneair 5.5 and the "justification" for the SIZE increase
As a non "Orchard dweller” there is a limit to NEW features added to each iPhone release,
increase size, increased battery power sapphire coating, the hype that the A8 will run 2.6 GHz is correctly dismissed in this article
Since iPhones went Dual Core only 300MHz has been added to IP5S the 3rd iPhone to be Dual Core
if there is an upgrade it will be just 200Mhz to 1.5GHz which matched the Q10 / Z10 both of these phones have 2Gb Ram
398 PPI also is very high as Apple is running par with Retina Display or 330 PPI
Finally there is not even a whiff or mention for the iPhone6C the iPhone5C was the affordable iPhone
Afaik the 8GB IPC was introduced for even more affordability so on 19/09/2014 so will there be an Iphone6C and if so 8Gb?

So you know everything about iPhone 6 before it is even launched ?
Please don't confuse display quality and display resolution , they are not same ! Steve was arrogant but can really explain why people fall head over heals when apple releases "same sh*t"(sarcasm ) every time . Call him what you please but he was a very successful businessman .

You mean 2014's most successful phones.

Even as an Apple fan I don't see the point of this article. Its as if we are not bombarded with enough leaks and half baked rumors. Lets just stop with all the rumor recycling and wait until the thing is found in a bar so we are at least sure what it's going to look like.
5. Finalflash (Posts: 1472; Member since: 23 Jul 2013)
Yea but what we should take away from this is that even with rumors it was a boring as hell read. I saw nothing that was genuinely exciting other than the sapphire glass bit and we know that isn't going to happen from the cost article.
22. iampayne (Posts: 213; Member since: 12 Aug 2013)
Exactly, its listed as "hot" and "featured" as if there was something here we haven't been reading about for months now.
72. pulkit1 (Posts: 80; Member since: 03 Jul 2014)
Probably for you because you are not really into iOS ecosystem but this iPhone is pretty exciting for people who want to remain in iOS ecosystem and are looking for a new device .
different strokes for different folks.

You don't see the point of the article, yet you still clicked on it...........

Sooo...is Apple planning to make iPhone 6 secure? Is that the big secret?
50. Droid_X_Doug (Posts: 5542; Member since: 22 Dec 2010)
So far, I am under-whelmed by Apple. The iP6 is looking like a warmed-over iP5S. iOS8 is looking like a warmed-over iOS7. Maybe the iWatch will save Apple.
Frankly, there is more excitement over whether MS is going to ditch the Lumia branding for its new WP toys.

Your name is "givemespecs" & you want an iPhone???
Yeah the irony is killing me... lol
You should just change your name to "typical".
21. SemperFiV12 (Posts: 684; Member since: 09 Nov 2010)
I do have to agree with Evo... Apple usually keeps from packing the highest end specs. That is where they make their profit.
Nice shiny outside, but internal mediocrity. Can't fault it as a business plan though, just haven't been thrilled thus far.
One has to wonder though... the increments of real world, noticeable changes coming from upgraded internals is not nearly as fast as it used to be. At least not what people are advertising it to be ;)
25. Sauce (unregistered)
The 5s was and still is a power beast. On top of that, real work performance and user experience is great.
Look at the 2012+ Chevy Camaro.
The looks are great. The internals are great. The cost is great. BUT..
The user experience sucks. Can't see sh*t out of the rear window, and there are more blind spots than my own a-hole.
41. SemperFiV12 (Posts: 684; Member since: 09 Nov 2010)
I liked your comment for the connection to the Camaro... lovely cars.
And quite frankly, I agree with everything you said ("power beast" being a subjective and confusing term.
But it is an all round great phone for the average user.
36. microsoftnokiawin (Posts: 881; Member since: 30 Mar 2012)
specs are only as good as the software after all no matter how many cores and how much memory you have a bad wriiten code will lag at the end of the day and run horribly !
47. medtxa (Posts: 68; Member since: 02 Jun 2014)
I bet you don't care about spec at all even on more potent os, only eyed that shiny gold thing your mouth watering. sigh i'm disgusting write these.
60. microsoftnokiawin (Posts: 881; Member since: 30 Mar 2012)
more blind fan boy talk when did i say i'm getting one or that i even ever owned or wanted to own an iPhone all i said was that hardware is as good as the software that comes with it !
54. Canaan (Posts: 78; Member since: 25 May 2014)
Specs aren't everything though, despite the iPhone only having dual core processor and 1GB of RAM it's on par with many android phones that have quad core processors and even in some benchmarks show higher numbers. I have been told that the reason why is because Apple designs its OS to work specifically with its processors. With that being said, Apple has made hardware upgrades to its devices with each new numerical incarnation, if they keep with the pattern we can at least expect the RAM doubling to 2GB.
69. sapiopath (Posts: 3; Member since: 11 Jul 2014)
Ironically, even though the insides are "mediocre" it outperforms all other manufacturers' flagship phones from the same generation consistently. What's the point of having a specced out phone, if the software is too trashy to utilize its power? See Geekbench, for example.
I've had BlackBerry, Windows Phone, Android and iOS phones. Apple's products are by far the easiest to use. I like it when things just work as you intuit they might. But that's just me.
35. microsoftnokiawin (Posts: 881; Member since: 30 Mar 2012)
my name and what i stand for are different what's your point ?
20. SemperFiV12 (Posts: 684; Member since: 09 Nov 2010)
Yea, I'm with you on that. It'd be interesting to see. Hoping iOS 8 is just as groundbreaking as the new sizing Apple is trying out.
16. papss (unregistered)
I'm not quite as narrow minded as many folks here and I'm waiting to see what Apple brings to the table.. I'm sure it will bring things that are carry over things but they usually get some things right.. I'm more concerned over the OS than the actual phone.
19. SemperFiV12 (Posts: 684; Member since: 09 Nov 2010)
Ditto... Good to finally see an iPhone change the science of the "perfect" screen size. Larger screened devices appeal to me and my usage... but even 4.7" may be small. Hoping the rumors of an iPhablet is true.
And of course, as you said iOS 8 is a step forward (or two.)
23. iampayne (Posts: 213; Member since: 12 Aug 2013)
Don't expect to much from iOS 8. Apple does hardware and software on alternate years. It goes major refresh of software one year and then the next a major hardware change. Hence 5S not changing hardware but getting iOS7. They put all their resources into one or the other each year.
74. pulkit1 (Posts: 80; Member since: 03 Jul 2014)
didn't you see the features on iOS 8 , it is probably the biggest update(architecturally ) to iOS yet!
26. SIGPRO (Posts: 398; Member since: 03 Oct 2012)

The increased prices for the new iPhones showcase the changing demographics of iPhone models:
3.5" iPhone -> iDreamOfRich
4" iPhone -> iPretendRich
4.7" iPhone -> iRich
5.5" iPhone -> iRicher
iOS 8 - "Now with even more NSA inside, to keep your riches safe. And extra sparkly icons!"
46. medtxa (Posts: 68; Member since: 02 Jun 2014)
apple appeals, it's exclusive os (not necessarily best), luxurious?, neccesarily high price (yeah to convice snob to buy), you know it.
68. RebelwithoutaClue (Posts: 507; Member since: 05 Apr 2013)
Yet almost every person I know who owns an iPhone (50 people or so), isn't rich, don't consider them rich, nor pretend to be rich. They do want to be rich, but don't we all :)

Makes the HTC ONE looks even prettier than this iCrap
75. pulkit1 (Posts: 80; Member since: 03 Jul 2014)
HTC one is pretty but you are a moron thinking this is the final design all these renders and dummy leaks are made from the schematics , so we don't really know about the materials or colour schemes (two-tone ) .
29. twatts723 (Posts: 7; Member since: 22 May 2013)
I can't wait to see how many people that said, "anything bigger than this (holding up old iphone) is pointless" buy this monster lol

Yup, your opinion about Apple is very important, relevant, and appreciated. As for me, I'm glad an American company is doing well.
44. medtxa (Posts: 68; Member since: 02 Jun 2014)
why we should happy with company get big profit from customer? maybe I"m not american?
