Verizon Wireless employees already getting schooled on the Nexus One?
It wasn't a secret as Verizon Wireless was on the verge of launching its first set of Android powered phones – almost every employee was schooled on the features of this relatively unknown platform back in the fall. Now that the Nexus One is on the verge of becoming a reality for the number one wireless carrier, it looks like they're at it again by getting their employees up-to-date on the new offerings it of course features over other current Android handsets. Although the Nexus One really sets itself apart by the way it is being sold through Google's online store, this CDMA variant will take a traditional approach to its sales process. One of BGR's sources say that the Nexus One might be sold in stores throughout the country – which might indicate why these employee trainings are happening right now. Despite it's still being classified as a rumor and not confirmed, it could potentially spur some serious sales if this were to actually happen. With spring knocking on the door, we're still waiting for an official launch date for this venerable smartpahone.

Let's be honest - the Nexus One has been having one huge disappointment after another - if it wasn't 3G issues, then it was multitouch issues, now it's screen breakage issues... coming from one of the premiere companies in the world in Google - I expected much, much better. Bottom line? I won't be trading in my Droid any time soon.

Dude, I get you, but seriously every phone has it's issues. Take the iPhone, wasn't it burning up cars and pockets? I think Verizon is smarter than that, and the 1st round of N1's on T-mo just gives them time to perfect it's short comings. Bottom line, Google will not fail, they just won't and the fact that they might be putting it in the retail stores is proof.

No microwaves to the gonads. This isn't a WiMax phone.
