UPDATED:BlackBerry App World 1.1.0.11 now up and running
RIM has released an upgrade to the BlackBerry App World. The new version is 1.1.0.11 and fixes some bugs in the software as well as allowing for faster downloading of icons. If you are a 'Berry owner using the app store, you know how long it was taking for some of those icons to load up. Another improvement will allow you to see the top 25 paid and free downloaded applications; before the upgrade, the top 25 did not distinguish between those apps that cost money and those that were on the house. A useful tool that has been added to App World is a display that will show you how much memory is available on your device. Without having to go into the menus to find out if you have enough room on your handset to download that new app you want, you will be able to know the answer right away on the screen. Finally, the upgrade will allow you to archive an application either on internal memory or on a memory card. This will allow you to quickly reinstall a program that you have removed before. Check out the source link to send yourself an email on your 'Berry that will enable you to load the new App World software.
