Tweet states Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet is coming to Verizon with an October release date
If  you have been looking forward to that Nokia Windows powered tablet code named "Sirius", you might not have that much longer to wait. A tweet from evleaks sent on Sunday tells us that the Nokia Lumia 2520 is coming to Verizon as soon as next month. The slate is expected to be available in red and black. We've already seen a picture of the red version of the tablet with the Verizon logo. A version of the tablet is also said to be coming to AT&T.  We could see the tablet introduced on September 26th, this coming Thursday.

The latest rumored specs for the slab have it equipped with a 10.1 inch 1080p screen with 5 point multi-touch and wide viewing angles, powered by a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Windows RT 8.1 is installed and the tablet comes with 32GB of native storage. A 6.7MP snapper is on back, featuring ZEISS optics. On front is a 2MP camera. A micro HDMI slot will be available along with a port for USB 3.0. The Nokia Lumia 2520 will have 4G LTE connectivity.

The Nokia Lumia 2520 will dock with an optional protective cover that doubles as a QWERTY keyboard. The accessory will also work as a stand for the tablet and will be embedded with a battery to help extend the battery life of the slate. Pricing for the tablet is expected to start at $499.

Just hope Nokia knows what they're doing with RT. That's a ballsy move of them.

$499? Hmm. Depending on how the Surface RT 2 is priced, I might actually get an RT tablet. It'd be great if these come in the CMY color theme of Lumia and Asha lines.

-BOX you know it's kind of strange but the Apple ipads and all the Android tablets do the thing as the Windows RT tablets do and that is they only use "Touch Screen enabled apps nothing else yet People put down MS Windows RT tablets because they do the same thing. People have to get over this IDEA that Microsoft should only make tablets that run their OLD
windows XP, Vista or windows 7 desktop programs too. To be frank with you people use tablets for mostly Internet based activities and the NEW Windows
8.1 OS RT tablets will do a better job doing that than the old windows RT Tablets did

I will buy one to use for internet based activities. I want a good thin Laptop/notebook computer
Equipped with a DVD Burner for Mobile production work. folks are they any good Notebook/Laptop computer out there for sale that have a DVD burner drive. All I read about are these Windows 8 tablet/Hybrids but none of them have any DVD burner. a person cannot put enough info on a thumb drive or SDHC card to know what the hell you have stored on them. I do not like them for storing my info except on a temporary bases. at least on a writeable DVD you have some area to write some thing to identify which DVD has your info/Data/Music/Video on.
