Well, good luck to the ipad. I'm just wondering how long it's gonna take for adobe to start getting the hits from ipad users requesting flash....just like the thousands of iphone users did. Apple's got a cult like following, so no matter what, the ipad will sell. The brand along will get people to but it. If people bought the iphone with no mms capabilities, the ipad will sell even though you cant make calls, no flash, and no multitasking. To some it doesnt matter what it is, if it says apple they'll buy it. I do have to agree with Jobs on the fact that the ipad is "magical" though: it gets people to spend $500-$800 on a something that's no better than a $299 netbook. On a serious note, I wonder what the reason is for AT&T to not subsidize this device. They would sell more if they could drop the price to $200-300. I understand ipad users would be data only users. This probably would tax the small smaller 3G AT&T network even more and VZW would have a field day with ipad specific commercial focusing on AT&T 3G coverage. However apple could pretty easily "demand" AT&T to guarantee a specific amount of units or else. Or is it a goodbye gift from Apple to AT&T since they are ready to bounce?????

it'll drop eventually when you 1st launch something you usually set the price pretty high just to see who is commited to buying the product after about a month of so of sales report the numbers will determine rather they should reduce the price, but most likely they will.

have you ever even used an apple product? apple tv synced throughout your house is amazing i can only imagine ipad included would enhance the experience. "brainwashed" is such an ignorant comment. But i guess people are entitled to being ignorant on a phone forum.

I agree. I don't get why all I see are users hatin on all the Apple products. Going through out the forum, I also notice it seems to be mostly Verizon users. Just cuz you can't have the iPhone doesn't mean it has anything to do with the iPad. Like he said, have you guys ever tried an Apple product before besides the iPhone?

Don't get me wrong i really do not like Jobs at all. But I like apple products. That doesnt mean i hate the droid either. Im sure the droid is an amazing device as well.

actually i have used apple products. I used a macbook pro when i was using Logic as a DAW. Now i use an Open Labs MiKo and im running Cubase Studio 5. ive had every generation of iPod. Once the microsoft Zune came out i jumped ship. The iPod touch was the biggest waste of 300 dollars i have ever spent. being able to sync your media throughout your house via computer is something that can also be done with windows based computers EVEN the Xbox 360 can do that and so can the Playstation 3 (which is Linux based). once again you guys proved how brainwashed you apple heads really are. apple computers are in no way more innovative than Windows and if you say they are then youre being biased. They both have made waves in the industry. they have both been innovative and have adopted technologies from one another. Face it if Apple was that great as a manufacturer they would control more than 8% of the market here in the US (6% worldwide). Apple is trendy! They also have one of the greatest marketing teams and its evident. Seriously take a netbook from any carrier Verizon or ATT and compare their specs to the iPad's specs....you will clearly see which is superior and CHEAPER!

Apple TV is great- I'll give you that. But this product suuuuucks. It's such a waste of money. I don't feel that Apple users are "brainwashed" per say, but the majotiry of them only buy because Apple products look cool and are very trendy. Maybe 5% of them actually bought Apple because of functionality.

He said "I dont feel that Apple users are "brainwashed" per say" therefore its not your point exactly. A lot of people like apples OS believe it or not. Ive played with android devices. I prefer the apple OS. not saying its bad but just because you dont like it or feel that its not as good does not mean that is the general consesus.
