Pay by phone parking service up & running in Albuquerque
Don't you hate it when you constantly have to throw in money into a parking meter every time it's about to expire – causing you to run back in time before it runs out; with the near possibility of getting a ticket afterwards. Parkmobile USA knows all of those inconveniences and has developed a unique way of paying for metered parking services all from the comforts of your mobile phone. In order to utilize the service, you have to first register by calling toll-free 877-PARK-715 and download the specific app through their web site. Based on what it states on the site, Parkmobile supports the iPhone, BlackBerry, Palm, and Android handsets. Once the account is all setup, customers will receive text message alerts and reminders fifteen minute before their meter expires – but then again, you can simply refill your time with the aid of the app on your phone. Now motorists located in Albuquerque, New Mexico will be the first to try out this new service that makes it quite convenient for parking goers – let's hope that this roll out becomes successful and branches out to other markets.

Cool! I live in Albuquerque! I'll have to download this right away. Hope it takes off and starts spreading to other major cities.

I live in ABQ and will never use this app. There is very little paid metered parking in this town, so I don't think that there will be a very large appeal for this app.
