New LG smartwatch (with circular display) teased by Audi at CES 2015
Apart from announcing the G Flex 2 and mentioning the G4 (or whatever its next flagship smartphone will be called), LG has seemingly also brought a new smartwatch to CES 2015 - though it’s not yet ready to officially present it.

The mysterious smartwatch was spotted today during Audi’s CES press conference, when one of Audi’s officials used the device to command a self-driving car. Like the LG G Watch R, the new smartwatch sports a round display. However, it’s got three buttons on the right side, not just one - so it has to be a new model. It’s not yet clear if the device runs Android Wear, though we’d imagine that it does.

For the moment, LG isn’t saying anything about this new smartwatch, but we guess the company will reveal more about it in the near future. Not long ago, we heard that LG would announce an LTE-enabled G Watch R2 at MWC 2015 (thus in March). Could the watch that was showcased today be this rumored R2? Well, we’ll just have to wait and see.

Looks like LG is taking a "Samsung" approach at the smartwatch market...

No not at all. LG actually delivers pretty solid products, unlike Samsung who is basically more about the mass-production lol.

Um Samsung has the most and best access to quality parts and manufacturing processes than anyone in the world.

You might choose to hate but saying Samsung products are not at least solid is quite ridiculous.

Mass Production + really good QC = Mass Good Product. Beside, iPhones are mass produced too.

Not just Samsung wearables, but anything will look dated and ugly next to this. I was waiting for the G R's price to drop to get one, instead i ll wait for this piece of beauty.

Not everything look out dated, the moto 360 is still the best smart watch on the market, second place is the lg g r ,the Asus zenwatch would be second if they had all the features like the others but interms of design moto 360 and Asus zen look the best. I currently have the silver stainless steel moto 360 and people ask about it all the time, haven't had no problem with it.

The flat tire look is already dated. It may be the only smartwatch to have such a display. And we already know that the internals are 4 years old.

Give it a break. The latest Samsung watch (which doubles as a phone) is at least a couple of months old and it does much more than any Android Wear watch around. I suggest waiting for the Gear 3.

That looks great. Pretty close to a real Chronograph. I love my Moto 360 but I am definitely getting another so I can change. Looks like I'll be waiting for this one.

Now that is more my style! If the innards and performance of that watch is improved enough from the current R watch, I would definately get it and replace the band with a gun metal black band.

Most beautiful smartwarch ever. To bad it's not iOS compatible. I will get this if I ever switch to android - and I'm not thinking of an apple watch or any smartwarch for the matter. This is what I want a smartwarch to look like.

Just stop it. Any true Apple-dicksucking fag would not say something like that. An Apple product is the pinnacle of design and useability no matter how ugly, outdated or retarded it is. Look at darkkjedi for inspiration.

I still want a plastic version that wont look terrible after you scratch it. I bumped my G watch R into a metal cart and it scratched the paint or anodizing right off. At least if you scratch a NON-painted surface, you just get more NON-painted surface underneath.

To be fair any painted metal watch is going to scratch. I use to rock those casio calculator watches and they always ended up looking like crap after a year if use.

Looks nice, but who said it's made by LG?
