Come On Verizon! People still use these phones. Equipt them with EV-DO at least. Phones released 4 years ago have more features on them than today's feature phones.

Get an Octane if you want a feature phone with EV-DO.

Its true! My 8300 is better than the feature phones out today. Why should I upgrade to less than what I have?

They only release phones like this so old people and idiots can spend the next 2 years trying to figure them out. "Brrrrrrrr how do I make it louder shhhunny, wait this isn't country kitchen buffet" "how do I turn the phone on? Pffffffffffft"

For my kid who sent 13000 text messages in a month, and for a lot of people, these types of phones make sense. No data plan, does the job. Not everyone needs an iPhone.

It slides open the other way now, the same as the Samsung Intensity 2.

We already have the new Cosmos in stock at my Best Buy. We don't have them on display yet and I'm not sure when they'll be launching but I'm sure most other BB's have them already also. I wouldn't be surprised if BB stores decide to put them out soon simply because we have them ready to go
