Hulu Plus for Apple iPad gets a new look

A completely redesigned version of video app Hulu Plus is now available in the Apple App Store for the Apple iPad. Hulu says it rebuilt the app from the ground up for the Apple tablet. The updated Hulu Plus will allow you to tap on an unfamiliar show to see the discover panel which will give you information on the show and individual episodes. If you tap on a show, you will see the first, next or latest episode depending on your history with that particular show. Click on an episode and a summary of it will appear so you can decide whether or not to view it. If you want to see something else, a swipe to the left or right will let you view collections of shows and previous seasons until you find something you want to watch.

The new UI for Hulu Plus on the Apple iPad will now allow you to minimize the screen allowing you to multitask while the video continues to play. And navigation for a television series has also been improved to help you more quickly find that specific episode that you're dying to see. Also introduced with this update is the ability to playback clips inline, and Hulu Plus now has improved search capabilities.
