HTC One M10 allegedly leaks again: chamfered design, camera module, and antenna bands get pictured
We are amidst MWC 2016, and the major phone makers debuted their newest gadgets. Samsung showed us the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, LG unveiled the G5 and its "Friends", Sony surprised us with three Xperia phones, and finally, HTC also chimed in with the Desire 530, 630, and 825. None of the latter is a flagship, and neither is the One X9, which also got silently re-announced yesterday.

Indeed, we expect HTC to succeed the One M9 with the M10 this year. In fact, rumors about this device have been flying around for some time, though it's sometimes rolling under the "Perfume" codename. Evan Blass, a.k.a. evleaks, even gave us a sneak peek of the front of the anticipated flagship, which revealed that it might pack an oval home button, which will most likely house the fingerprint scanner.

Today, a new leak from China micro-blogging website Sina Weibo hit us, claiming to show the back side of the HTC One M10. We get see the camera unit, which seems like it's a little bit protruding. As a refresher, rumors say it will be a 12MP UltraPixel snapper. To the right of it, we see a dual-tone LED flash; the black thingy right below the flash might, or might not be a vertically-positioned laser-assisted auto-focus system system.

We've got clearly visible antenna bands, too, with what appears to be a noise-cancelling microphone. At the left, there's a hint of a hardware button, most probably the power Finally, there's a small cutout at the very top of the phone, which is most certainly a 3.5mm top-positioned audio jack. As far as the design of the phone is concerned, it looks like its made of metal, which is unsurprising. We also get to see lots of bevels this time around. That's not typical of HTC, as most of its devices usually feature more curved lines, but there's no law forbidding the Taiwan-based manufacturer from spicing things up in the design department. As usual, take this leak with a grain of salt and make sure to share any thoughts you might have in the comments section.

Nope. The iPhone is a very feminine curvy design (fitting since it's made for teeneaged girls). I don't think he knows what chamfered means.

True feminine design.

Do you remember the HTC DNA, that's rectangular, the M7. I really like Sonys Z series, because the Edges are sharper than being smoother like Samsung S series. The Note4 and Note3 are sharp with slight smoothed curves.

I had an HTC DNA. It was a highly underrated device.

It has curved chamfered. Look at the sexy iP5, all one piece block, then the Ip6, block but with the another layer chamfered on the outer.

Not sure you know what chamfered is. ip5 is chamfered & ip6 isn't.

HTC is turning away from rectangular M7 design to chamfered ugly.

HTC just needs to get rid of all that bezel.

Looks alright so far. Still hoping for some design that sets it apart. Motorola custom colors and backs do that in a way that few others can compare to.

They get rid of the htc logo on the bottom of the screen but that huge bezel still remains.....which means nothing has been changed

if the 12Ultrapixel camera turns out great, the competition will be interesting again.

I seriously do not understand why HTC has such big problems with decreasing the bezels. on their phones. Is that really so difficults to engeneer?? Make the screen larger if you have to, to keep the overall size, but get rid of those gigantic bezels!!!

The phone does not have that chamfer, it's an add on. This is added to hide the phone against leaks. The final device looks much better than that

Any haters go elsewhere, you are wrecking any chance this phone maker you love has and you will miss it when they go. FFS the phone hasn't been released or unveiled

Those edges look like the typical grinded edges you see on Huawei phones. Yould this actually be some Huawei device??

Chamfered= Prone to scratches. Since the chamfers are so big I don't think it will age well. But other aspects look good except for the ditching of boomsound. Waiting for HTC to bring an all around winner especially in Camera Dept
