HTC HD2 accessories are also seeing a strong demand?

We all know how there is still a demand for the HTC HD2 on a global basis, but now it's being reported that some accessories for the phone are equally in the same boat when it comes to stock availability. Clove.co.uk has reported selling out their stock on both the official extended battery and car kit for the HTC HD2 with a new order in place already to be scheduled for availability some time next week. These aren't your usual cheap accessories as the extended battery is being sold for £41.13 ($65) and the car kit for £64.62 ($100), but it makes you wonder some of the missed opportunities in sales for HTC as they continue to meet the insatiable demand. Conversely, at least we don't have to wait a long period of time before shipments begin to replenish starved inventories, but it does point to some interesting insights to the profitability with accessories surrounding high-end devices. Naturally there are probably some high margins being made with these accessories and it looks clearly that consumers will spend some cash in getting them.
