Verizon is also planing to replace the HP Mini 1151NR, once the stock is depleted, with the HP Mini 110-1046NR. It will continue to use Windows XP Home Edition with SP3, but will come with a 160GB HDD (up from 80GB). The rest of the specs remain unchanged, N720 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 10.1-inch 1024x576 resolution display, Global Roaming (CDMA/EVDO/UMTS/HSPA/GSM/GPRS/EDGE), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth, Webcam with Mic, and a 5-in-1 Media Card Reader. The HP Mini 110 will be $199, after $100 rebate with a 2-year contract.
One of our tipsters told us today that of these two Netbooks will be the first out of 6 expected to be released over the next few months.

Aw crap. As an indirect retailer, I really don't care for the whole subsidized netbook thing. I have to spend a ton of money to put one netbook on the shelf, and I hate getting stuck with inventory nobody wants. Good for consumer choice, but I'll just keep selling aircards and mifis and send customers out to get their own netbooks, unless they special order.
