Android mascot gets operation to play with new Sony Ericsson smartphone

Anyone who has ever played with a PlayStation game controller knows that it requires opposable thumbs to handle the controls. With this in mind, our little green friend-who has been the long time mascot of Google's open source operating system-would have to give up ever having a chance to slide out the game controls and give the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play a turn unless something could be done to add a pair of opposable thumbs to our robotic pal.
This is the theme of a new commercial by Sony Ericsson and while a little disturbing at times, it provides the joint venture with a bit of an edge that they have lacked in the past. Hopefully this all means that an introduction of the device is on the way with a launch to follow not too long after that. After all, no one likes to be sitting by, twiddling their thumbs.
Thanks Michael!

this commercial is laaaaame. apparently the only type of people who do unsanitary, back-alley surgeries are third world asians who also communicate via mind reading. incidentally it's the only role asian males seem to get in popular media. not like they can speak english or anything. sony ericsson fails completely.
and the thumb surgery looks disgusting.
just goes to show that some japanese conglomerates will do anything to infiltrate the white, european/american markets.
