Android 2.1 update is leaked for Sprint's HTC Hero
As we continue to wait for the day Sprint officially announces the Android 2.1 update for their version of the HTC Hero, those who are impatient of waiting can check out the next closest thing to an official update. Although the Android 2.1 Test ROM for the Hero was leaked a month ago, the latest one may not be the final build, but it'll be the closest thing to the final product that's probably feverishly in the final stages of completion. Now one of the nice things to see from this new ROM is that it's signed with release keys so those owners who chose to root their smartphone won't lose it. However, seeing that this isn't an official, just be weary of the potential dangers that could happen and just be conscious of the risks involved in its installation. The latest rumors pinpoint May 21st as the potential release date for the Android 2.1 update, but you can simply bypass the wait and check this one that's been leaked.
