All angles of the BlackBerry Jakarta leak out (UPDATE: Now the BlackBerry Z3)

The only thing BlackBerry about the BlackBerry Jakarta is the BlackBerry 10 OS running the show, and the BlackBerry name on the device. Other than that, the phone is designed by contract manufacturer Foxconn, manufactured by them and Foxconn is dealing with the logistics. On Sunday night, we passed along a leaked render that supposedly revealed the first look at the phone that is expected to be available in Indonesia and possibly other developing markets.

On Monday, some more angles of the phone were revealed including the sides, the top and bottom. As we told you on Sunday, this is not meant to be a model that competes with the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One 2. The BlackBerry Jakarta would be considered competition for the the Nokia Lumia 520 and Nokia Lumia 525.

The John Chen era of BlackBerry might begin with a phone that has a very limited involvement by the beleaguered Canadian manufacturer as to design and production.
