AT&T is selling refurbished first generation Apple iPad 3G models for as little as $329
Although it’s not being heavily advertised by Verizon, there’s no arguing that it’s nearly impossible to not be somewhat entertained by aggressive $299 price point given to the first generation 16GB iPad Wi-Fi model. However, AT&T is surely turning heads as well since they’re doing the same for their 3G enabled first-gen models.

Taking a quick peek at AT&T’s web site today, bargain shoppers will undoubtedly be surprised to find refurbished first-generation iPad 3G models selling for as little as $329 – not to mention there is no contract required for it. Considering the fact that it’s only $30 more than what Verizon is asking for their brand new 16GB Wi-Fi only model, some will surely take notice and find its price point very affordable; despite being a refurbished model.

Sadly though, it appears that they’re currently sold out of the 16GB model right now, but you can still pick up the 32GB and 64GB refurbished models for a respectable $429. Still, we find it odd to see that both models are priced the same, but it would be better to see the 32GB version moving into the $329 pricing that’s currently occupied by the 16GB one.

So if you’re will to overlook the refurbished nature of the tablets, you can snag yourself a truly affordable iPad 3G model.

Ever heard of up-selling? Advertise a low-ball item (with only 1 or 2 of them available) and then when the low-ball item is out-of-stock, you can sell the disappointed prospective customers on the higher-end item(s).
