Verizon clearing first gen iPad inventories; prices start at $299
If you have been looking for a good bargain on the first generation of the Apple iPad, then Verizon might have just the deal that you have been searching for. Reportedly, Big Red is clearing its inventories from all first generation Wi-Fi-only iPads and is offering them at killer prices – starting as low as $299 for a 16-gig entry model.

Be aware that the discount is not available online and is probably not going to be. Privately owned Verizon stores do not seem to be participating either, getting an iPad on the cheap will require going to one of the carrier's own retail stores. If you are interested in the deal, we recommend you to spare no time as supplies are probably already running out.
