AT&T employee injured after being shot by a disgruntled customer
Retail store employees naturally get their fair share of dissatisfied customers that can yell, fuss, and even curse to show their displeasure over policies or other things regarding their cell phone. When something is used to attempt to hurt or place the store employees in serious jeopardy, the appropriate authorities are usually called in – which would some times result in some customers being banned from setting foot at the location ever again. Unfortunately that didn't stop one angry customer at an AT&T store in New York where he shot and injured a store employee. Apparently that same unhappy customer was at the location previously brandishing the same gun used in the shooting today. The employee was rushed off to a hospital where he was undergoing surgery for his wounds. On the other hand, the shooter was gunned down and pronounced dead after an off-duty police officer who happened to witness the event shot him – which obviously prevented additional people from getting hurt. It's definitely scary when something serious like this can happen while on the job – so it makes you wonder how effective these bans really are.
