OnePlus makes the Ace 6 Ultra official as its latest gaming powerhouse with a mind-blowing battery
There's so much to love about the newest member of the OnePlus Ace family, but alas, its availability is not one of those things.

As difficult as it might seem in the US for any Android device manufacturer to eclipse the value for money delivered by the OnePlus 15 and 15R (especially at the two's newest discounts), the brand's most hardcore global fans probably know the true bang-for-buck champions are released under the Ace name.
I'm talking about last year's OnePlus Ace 5, Ace 5 Pro, and Ace 5 Ultra, as well as the Ace 6 that was unveiled surprisingly quickly after its predecessor, and last but surely not least, the hot new OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra.
Now this is a spectacular spec sheet!
- 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 2772 x 1272 pixel resolution and 165Hz refresh rate technology;
- MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor;
- Android 16 with ColorOS 16.0;
- 12 and 16GB RAM options;
- 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage variants;
- 50MP primary rear-facing camera with OIS and f/1.8 aperture;
- 8MP secondary ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture;
- 16MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture;
- 8,600mAh silicon-carbon battery;
- 120W charging support;
- Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C 2.0;
- IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance;
- 162.45 x 77.47 x 8.45mm dimensions;
- 217 grams weight;
- Ace Awakening and Metal Storm color options.
Yes, these are the full and official features of the latest China-exclusive OnePlus gaming beast, which, however, don't tell the complete story of the handset's hardcore gaming credentials.

That's because the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra also comes with top-of-the-line built-in cooling technology and a couple of special accessories (sold separately) that aim to take your mobile gaming experience to a whole new level with super-reactive buttons, extra ports, and even stronger cooling.
But you obviously don't have to buy the optional controller or cooling fan to enjoy the raw power and especially the exceptional battery life and blazing fast charging of the Ace 6 Ultra in your day-to-day use (be it when gaming or performing a variety of other tasks on your new phone).
Let's put some of those numbers into context
Firstly, I would like to discuss the 8,600mAh battery capacity. That's an astonishing 1,900mAh over the cell size of the Ace 5 Ultra, which seemed (and actually was) very large at the time of that handset's official announcement, also beating the "regular" Ace 6 by a comparatively modest 800mAh.

What a glorious number! | Image by OnePlus
What's perhaps most impressive about these upgrades is that they don't come at the expense of the Ace 6 Ultra's design and thinness, as the new phone is less than 0.4mm and only 0.15mm thicker than the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 6, respectively, while also gaining just a few grams in weight.
It pretty much goes without saying that the 8,600mAh silicon-carbon battery also crushes everything the best Android phones available in markets like the US can offer right now, from the Galaxy S26 Ultra's 5,000mAh cell to the Pixel 10 Pro XL's 5,200mAh ticker, and yes, even the OnePlus 15's 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery.
Do you like gaming phones?
The same goes for the Ace 6 Ultra's similarly bonkers 120W charging capabilities... at least compared to the S26 Ultra and Google's latest jumbo-sized flagship, because the OnePlus 15 actually matches that particular number.
You won't believe how much the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra costs
Or rather how little it costs. Specifically, 3,799 yuan ($555) for an entry-level configuration with "only" 12 gigs of LPDDR5X Ultra memory and 256GB UFS 4.1 internal storage, and as much as CNY 5,399 ($790) for a 1TB storage variant with a whopping 16GB RAM also on deck.
How is that possible? Well, that's how things work in China (even when device manufacturers are forced to raise their prices in so many other markets due to a continuous increase in key component costs), and also because OnePlus clearly chose to make a few compromises to keep the Ace 6 Ultra as affordable as possible.

I'm talking about the cameras, which are definitely not 2026 flagship material (at least on paper), as well as the lack of wireless charging support and even the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, which is no match for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 inside the OnePlus 15, for instance.
Still, this is an undeniably impressive high-end handset in so many key ways, including the build quality department, where the Ace 5 Ultra's single major IP65 certification has been bumped up to IP66... and joined by IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings guaranteeing top-notch long-term durability.
Any hopes of US or European availability?
Unfortunately, none. And not just because OnePlus is reportedly considering exiting those markets soon. The Ace family is simply not meant for North America, the old continent, or even India, and this is clearly not the ideal time to change that historic fact. Not when smartphone sales are down around the world, and they're only expected to fall even lower by the end of the year.
Of course, surprise global releases of value champions like the Ace 6 Ultra would be a great way for OnePlus to stop that bleeding, but alas, I don't think you should get your hopes up outside of the world's largest smartphone market.
