Best Buy's Amazon 2 day sale is Prime Day reloaded for Echo devices
While Best Buy is obviously no stranger to selling Amazon hardware at deeply discounted prices, it’s certainly odd to be able to get cheaper Echo smart speakers from a different retailer than the one actually in charge of their manufacturing.

You also don’t need a Prime membership to score a massive $100 discount on the Amazon Echo Show, for instance, or a cool $30 off the Echo Spot and second-gen standard Echo’s list prices. Basically, Best Buy is matching Amazon’s Prime Day generosity today and tomorrow only, with a comprehensive sale ending Saturday, August 4, at 11:59 p.m. CT.

That 7-inch touchscreen-sporting Echo Show is probably the most appealing item on this fresh list of Amazon-made bargains, fetching $130 instead of $230, while the diminutive, circular Echo Spot and no-display Echo (2nd generation) will set you back $100 and $70 respectively after the aforementioned $30 markdown.

The already ultra-affordable Echo Dot (2nd generation) is once again up for grabs at $29.99, or $20 off, with a kid-friendly Echo Dot costing $60 after an identical price cut, and a $100 Echo Plus (down from $150) also including a complimentary Philips Hue Bulb.

Smart speakers aside, you can save between $20 and $40 on select Amazon Fire tablets until tomorrow night, as well as $30 or $40 on select Fire Kids slates. The 2017-released Fire HD 10 is a popular choice in this category, now fetching $110 and up, with a 7th-gen Fire HD 8 currently available at only $50 in a 16GB configuration, and a Fire HD 8 Kids Edition priced at $90.
