The post went up in r/GalaxyFold from a user going by moomanjohnny, who wrote that he felt some FOMO watching Apple's demo and went poking around to see what his own phone could manage. What he found was a hinge sensor accurate enough to drive an animation off, so he fed those readings into a transition that plays across both screens at once.
