Check out these new photos of the Nokia Lumia 930 Golden Collector's Edition
Earlier this month, we told you about the Nokia Lumia 930 Golden Collector's Edition. The frame is gold colored as is the Nokia name on the rear of the device. Speaking about the back of the phone, the black color of the rear cover (it will also be available soon with a white rear cover), gives the phone an elegant look. Only 3000 of these pups were produced.

For $467, buyers receive the phone, a DC-20 Car Charger and the Nokia DT900 wireless charging pad. Not a bad deal at all. The Nokia Lumia 830 has received the same treatment. We should point out that this variant of the phone does not offer 4G LTE (although you can connect to an HSPA+ signal on AT&T). And while it does arrive with an older version of Windows Phone 8.1, if you check for an update you will find Windows Phone 8.1.1 which includes the Lumia Camera app version 5.0, and the Lumia Denim firmware update.

We have a series of new pictures showing off the Nokia Lumia 930 Golden Collector's Edition, which you can view by clicking on the slideshow below.

Is it available in the US... Why it does not support LTE?

I trolled this before, but I have to say it looks better to me now. Still like the Passport, both have nice builds in their own right before being accentuated.

I really like this phone but it has poor battery life.

I just bought it a couple days ago. Fantastic phone, especially the camera with the new Denim features, but I agree, for now the battery life looks close to abysmal for today's standards. I fully charged it yesterday morning (took it off the charger at around 8am), and now it is 9:30am (in France) and it's already below 25%, with light usage. Now you have to keep in mind that I always optimize all my settings in order to get the most battery life out of my phones. In most cases, when reviews say that you can get a day and a half out of a device, I usually get at least 2 days. And with the 930 it looks like I will barely get a day out of it. It's a shame because I really love this phone, aside from the overall size and weight, and given the thickness I thought battery life would be great.

Should've been a standard color option.

If you're in the US, it doesn't matter anyway since the price of this and standard color options are about the same.

Much better than that one with the nasty designs etched in it...

That's what is different, thank you.
