Samsung SGH-D780 Review

operate in the US on AT&T and T-Mobile.
Nowadays, cell phones have become an integral part of our lives. Some people have to carry two phones because they are using the services of more than one provider. Samsung offers an interesting solution for that group in the face of D780. It is a tri-band GSM with basic functions, as its creators claim, works with two SIM cards simultaneously and is the second such phone of the manufacturer after the slider D880. In contrast to it however, here, the name DuoS has not been used.
Design:
D780 will not impress you with design or appearance but with comfort of use. It is made out of plastic, which doesn’t create the feeling for a cheap toy when in your hand. Due to its big size and weight it is not convenient to carry in a pocket.
You can compare Samsung SGH-D780 with many other phone using our Size Visualization Tool.
The TFT display is 2.1 inches with a resolution of 240x320 pixels and 262k color support. The picture is bright with well-saturated colors but nothing can be seen in direct sunlight. On top of that, the glass covering the screen is a fingerprint magnet.
Using almost all of the buttons on the front will be trouble-free, because they are easy to press with a clearly felt drive. Only the “down” on the 5-way D-pad could be hard to use for some since it is close to the edge.
On the right side, we have the camera key and the charger slot with the microSD one on the left. Here we also see the volume rocker, the SIM card control button and the strap hole. All these buttons are easy to use as well.
