Windows Phone 7 is getting 8 new Xbox Live games; available "in the coming months"
Needless to say, the platform will be getting its dose of gaming with recognizable titles like Angry Birds, Sonic the Hedgehog: Episode I, and Plants vs Zombies all arriving this month, but there’s no arguing that handset owners will be starving for some more as well to satisfy their appetite. Well, they’re going to be excited to know that Microsoft announced 8 new Xbox Live games arriving on the platform “in the coming months.” These include Beards and Beaks, Hasta la Muerte, Let’s Golf 2, Pac-Man CE DX, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction, Tentacles, Top Gun and Z0mb1es.
Although we can’t say when exactly we’ll see them arrive, you can check out the video below to get a sneak peek of what they will look like running on a handset. For the most part, all the titles look extremely polished and seem to work perfectly with the platform.

pacman CE dx has been out for weeks now. Its awesome. As for the rest, that looks like one hell of a mediocre lineup. With Xbox live on my phone why does IOS beat the crap out of wp7 with games lineup? Xbox live has meant the best in gaming on consoles. Yet there is no multiplayer, no in game chat(because no multiplayer) very few hardcore games, and the ones it has aren't the best in mobile gaming. I wanna see infinity blade, chaos rings and other square enix titles and sword and sworcery ep.. Where is the hardcore dev support from gameloft, I wanna see NOVA. or capcom, Konami, epic, chair,Namco, ea, and id software. They support IOS with impunity and that's why its leading in mobile gaming. I know they won't support a platform that's not too popular but wp7 is gaining speed and if Microsoft offered incentives to these big companies like they did with the Xbox to support the platform we'd see a huge difference. There is no reason why wp7 can't run hardcore games of the same quality as IOS, and with Xbox live support, achievements, multiplayer with in game chat, game invites, and the ability to see what friends on Xbox live are also wp7 users(to make game invites better) then wp7 would gain a huge jump in popularity. IOS and the playstation phone, hell angry birds as well, have told us all how popular gaming on mobiles have gotten when advanced enough. Lets see it take off. This list of 8 games won't cut it for me.

Also if splinter cell is the same port that's on IOS then don't even bother.
