Watch Steve Jobs himself make the official iPad 2 announcement
Yesterday's launch of the iPad 2 was an exciting event for many not just because of the second generation iPad tablet, but also because of the fact that one of the most influential CEOs appeared on stage himself despite various reports about his declining health and speculations going as far as predicting his death.
We're certainly happy to see Steve Jobs in seemingly good health take the stage for the announcement of the iPad 2 and so was the audience which greeted him with a standing ovation. But after all whatever the iPad 2 was, the March 2nd gathering was not only about the product, but also a celebration of the people who are behind that technology. You don't want to miss that, right?

He started off very humble. Used the word competitor instead of being specific and then the cocky-ness returned. Really what I got from this too long of a video was that Apple has a head start w/ the number of apps; that's it. As soon as android, blackberry, or Web os figure out how to get consumers to drink the Kool-aid, apple will be just another company. The problem is that Damn Kool-aid!

Apple Ipad 2. Great Improvement. Great Apps. Great Idea For Innovation.
Apple means the Innovation. They r the trend setters.
Apple Ipad 2 will be "The Tablet Of The Year".
The Only Thing Apple Needs to improve is wide avaibility of their product portfolio.
Their Focus on developing country is behind and Other Companies are cashing on this.
Go Ahead Guys. Great

Guys, I don't have an Ipad and probably won't ever get one... BUT Apple is the one who started the tablet era. Do we really think there would be Samsung galaxy tab's and Motorola zoom tablets if the ipad never existed?

Agree with u... Apple is the 1 who created this market.. go to motorola's R&D & testing department.. they did extensive testing & research on ipad to come up with their xoom.. i certainly think motorola did a very good job with their tablet but i don't know what this anti-apple ppl r talking abt.. it's not like apple does everything right..if u r anti-apple pick on the weakness they have..don't just write stupid.. false comments..and yes it is the same illiterate person who is writing these stupid comments against apple from different accounts..

I digress for any and all operating systems. "Stop banking on the number of apps. Rather, focus on the number of unique apps. 20,000 clocks and 40,000 calculators does not impress me. Unique and innovative apps do, and on all operating systems maybe 120 apps at most have been ground breaking and worthy of any operating systems bragging rights. "
