First official Jelly Bean OTA update for the Samsung Galaxy S III lands in Poland
Poland has the advantage of housing a huge Samsung R&D unit, and some things arrive there before anywhere else, like the leaked original Galaxy Note prototype we saw riding in the Polish metro before the official announcement last year.

Now the Poles are getting treated with another sweet surprise, and it is the first official Jelly Bean OTA update for the Samsung Galaxy S III, which is rolling there as we speak. The update brings the typical JB goodies like Google Now and 60fps UI with Project Butter, but also a new notification bar setup, two homescreen modes, and a resizable Pop-up Play video windows, like in the Note II.

We don't know if it is just a limited batch for testing purposes from the Samsung R&D center, or a starting point for the global rollout, but since Samsung confirmed that Android 4.1 is coming to its Galaxy S III in October, we'd wager to guess this is the real deal.

Moreover, Eastern Europe, starting with Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia and so on, is also getting the Jelly Bean update, but over there it is via the Kies sync software, not OTA.
