UPDATED: Samsung Instinct s50 gets a name confirmation, to be released on Sep 8?

And here we are again with yet another story about the unannounced Samsung Instinct s50 (aka Dash m850). One of our users told us that he has contacted Sprint asking when the m850 was coming out. Interestingly, the rep has informed him that the phone will be available on September 8, which does not match the previously rumored September 3 launch date. However, he says the rep has referred to the phone as the s50, even though he asked about the m850. Sounds like a good confirmation! Fortunately, there isn’t much time left until the beginning of next month. Samsung Instinct s50, here we come!

I can't wait. Gunna be getting this launch day. Maybe the 8th is better, I'm going out of town for labor day weekend to visit the wifes family and I would most likely not socialize if I had a new phone to tinker with. Maybe Sprint is just looking out for me. :)

I was told it would be called the Instinct HD by a pretty reliable source. He said that too many similar model numbers would be confusing to consumers. s30 s50 m810 m850? Yeah I could see how that would be confusing.
