Over a year old Samsung Epix to get Windows Mobile 6.5 treatment
Some devices get lucky we have to admit, but the aging Samsung Epix is about to get a treatment to Windows Mobile 6.5. Released well over a year ago for AT&T, this Windows Mobile handset packed a ton of features and looked similar to the BlackJack II – granted the addition of the touchscreen gave you another option of navigating through the phone. Scheduled to receive the Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade in February 2010, owners can look forward to having an up-to-date operating system. The same can’t be said for some of Samsung’s other well known smartphones like the original OMNIA or Saga. If you’ve managed to hold onto to your Epix since then, just be glad that Microsoft has placed the green lights for the Epix – other devices will have to wait their turn.
