Nokia launches their Comes With Music service in China
Nokia is getting a shot at the piece of the overall larger pie with the introduction of their DRM-free Comes With Music service to the world's largest mobile phone market. Their intentions to drive their ever growing unlimited music download offerings in China will aid catapult the Finnish company to contend in an area where it's already littered with some tough competition – but in doing so, they'll no doubt be able to further their brand recognition on a worldwide scale. The announcement brings forth the introduction of their first set of devices that will offer the legal and DRM-free music download service – these include the  Nokia X6 32GB and Nokia X6 16GB, Nokia 5230, Nokia 5330, Nokia 5800w, Nokia 6700s, Nokia E52 and Nokia E72i. The momentum will surely move forward in the correct direction as China will further spur some growth for their business while they look forward to launching the service in other critical markets like India down the road. Liz Schimel, Nokia's Global Head of Music said, “This launch delivers a truly mass market music offering from China's most loved mobile brand. Our broad range of Comes With Music enabled devices and the high quality, DRM-free catalogue form the perfect legal download recipe for the world's biggest market for mobile phones.” The latest addition of China marks their expansion into 30 markets worldwide in the last 18 months.
