Microsoft hosting an invite-only event today for the debut of Office 2013

Microsoft will be in the beautiful City by the Bay, also known as San Francisco, today. The event, which kicks off at noon local time, which is 3 p.m. eastern, is an invitation-only affair. So far the subject of the press event has been kept rather hush, hush by the Redmond-based giant, but we do know that CEO Steve Ballmer will be running the show.
AllThingsD is reporting that sources close to the company have reported that Microsoft will be officially unveiling its next iteration of Office – Office 15 or Office 2013.
We saw a screenshot from the technical preview back in February, so it is definitely exciting to think that we will finally see what Microsoft has been cooking up as far as bringing a desktop office experience to its upcoming tablet world. Being able to offer a fully functional productivity suite like Office on a Windows 8 tablet will surely change the game, particularly in enterprise environments. Let’s hope Microsoft delivers today.
What features do you hope Microsoft's next release of Office will have?

I wonder if MS is still going to release Office for iOS? Given MS' entry into the tablet space, Office for iOS might be counter-productive.

You know MS is largest (second only to Apple) Software developer for Apple's computing platforms. In don't think MS will hold office from release on iPad...they may price it higher...but I think they'll launch!
