LG Ally goes official, will let you see things as Tony Stark
The LG Ally (or Aloha) has frequently made headlines lately, and soon after we saw it featured in an Iron Man 2 promo, the manufacturer has finally unveiled the Android handset officially.

The LG Ally will aim to take advantage of the hype, surrounding the Iron Man 2 movie, and will be available starting May 20. One of the interesting things about the LG Ally is that the manufacturer has developed an Augmented Reality app, which will be available for download to those who purchase the smartphone. Apparently, the app will try to imitate the Iron Man HUD, but will also provide some exclusive Iron Man 2 content.

The LG Ally will be powered by Android and will feature a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It is also said to pack a 1GHz Snapdragon chipset, 3.5-inch AMOLED screen and a 5MP camera with 720p video recording, but this is still not confirmed by LG.

According to previous information, the LG Ally should be available through Verizon Wireless, but a price is still not announced.

LG gives users the chance to win the "ultimate Iron Man 2 prize package", which consists of the LG Ally plus 1 year free service, 2 tickets to the U.S. premiere of a Marvel movie and a giant 55-inch class LG "Infinia" LED HDTV plus LG home theater system. All you have to do to enter the sweepstakes is to text LGIM2 to 95173.
