Acer Liquid E1 hands-on
Acer is assaulting the affordable Android market with a couple of Liquid series handsets here at the MWC expo, and the Liquid E1 is the lead. This mid-range phone sports a 4.5-inch 540x960 IPS LCD display, runs on a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of internal memory and microSD slot, and has a 5 MP camera on the back with a 1,760 mAh battery to power it all. The handset has dual-SIM version as well, hinting at its target emerging markets.

We were pleasantly surprised how the Acer Liquid E1 feels in the hand. Granted, it is all plastic, but the design is pretty solid, and the patterned back doesn't attract fingerprints. The phone is also pretty light and the IPS display might not be HD, but ensures good colors and excellent viewing angles.

There are two strong sounding speakers at the front with stereo sound, which you don't see very often these days, hopefully will become a trend with affordable handsets as well, letting you do your personal tailgate party. Overall the Acer Liquid E1 feels like pretty promising handset, and it most likely won't break the bank for you.
