User Reviews
Yes, this is a bit of an odd situation in 2024 when there are other much newer apple devices but here me out. Where I reside in South Africa, the iPhone 13 makes the most sense to someone like me that wants to experience IOS but is not willing to pay the premium amount for the latest devices. I have done my research and compared the 13 with the 14 and the 15 and I feel that the 13 pretty much has most of the core features for considerably less. The A15 chipset is more than powerful enough for my usage, i could even play some games if I had the time for it. The camera has never failed me so far and I've been pretty happy with the battery. The speakers are very clear and the volume is definitely respectable.

User Opinions
The best value iPhone, you don't need anything else
I'd still pick one instead of the iPhone 16
Lightning port is the only downside here honestly
had my iPhone 13 for 3 years now, and honestly, it still runs great. No real reason to upgrade yet
Battery life ain’t what it used to be, but I can still get through most of the day. Probably gonna need a battery swap soon though.
60Hz screen is the only thing that bugs me now. After using a high-refresh display, this thing feels a bit choppy lol. 😆
No way I’m upgrading until USB-C is standard and they bring Touch ID back. Face ID is fine, but I miss the fingerprint sensor.
Dropped this thing way too many times and it just won’t die. Gotta respect the durability
I replaced the screen last year and Apple charged me a kidney. Almost switched to Android out of spite lmao.
If you can snag one of these in good condition, it’s still a killer phone for the price.
