We're focused on the new iPhone Duo and the new iPhone 18 Pro Max, but the Android realm is offering some great stuff as well.
Xiaomi has just released its Xiaomi 18 Fold (a wider-than-taller foldable supposed to take on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Apple's first-ever foldable iPhone at the same time); Oppo is on the verge of presenting the Find X10 Pro Max, plus, Huawei is as bold as ever with a new Pura X View.
Vivo is ready to premiere the X500 series and there are some great-looking renders that I think you'll enjoy.
The baseline Vivo X500: combination of the two

Vivo's X500 series will consist of several models. The vanilla Vivo X500 is a non-folding, sleek handset that combines two types of aesthetics on its back: a circular camera island… housed in a rectangular plateau.
To me, this certainly isn't the best-looking Vivo ever, but, thankfully, it's not horrendous either. Per the official renders, the Vivo X500 will be available in white, grey, dawn (a pinkish hue, really) and the obligatory black.
What would you prefer the iPhone 18 to look like?

The Vivo X500 Pro Max looks sharp (but not unique)

Moving on to the Vivo X500 Pro Max and the same-only-smaller Vivo X500 Pro, we see the signature circular camera island that can be found on many superstars from China like the OnePlus 13, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and so on.

I'm a fan of this design, but it's clear that Vivo isn't preoccupied with the thought of how to achieve unique looks. In fact, when you compare the orange-hued Vivo X500 Pro Max with the Oppo Find X9 Ultra:

…they look almost identical.
And here's the iPhone 18 Pro Max
In case you've somehow ("somehow, Palpatine returned") missed Apple's September 9 event and what was presented on the stage, here's the high-end flagship in all its glory:

Specs and performance aside—strictly fashion talking, Apple's new Pro Max isn't exactly a revolutionary phone compared to its predecessor. Here is the iPhone 17 Pro Max:

In fact, it's difficult to spot the difference. But you'll pay $100 more thanks to Apple's recent price hikes anyway, so you better find a way to rationalize it and like it.
Mint Mobile is now allowing you to get whichever plan you like for either three, six, or 12 months for just $15/mo. If you go for the six-month unlimited service, for instance, you'll now have to pay just $90 upfront instead of $210.
